Preventing Child Sexual Abuse Through Awareness, Acceptance And Action.
children in the UK are sexually abused before the age of 16. (That's at least 500,000 children every year — enough to fill Wembley Stadium five times over.)
girls are sexually abused before 16. (Enough girls to fill over 40,000 London double-decker buses)
boys are sexually abused before 16. (That’s more boys than will be admitted to hospital for any childhood illness this year.)
over 90% of children who are abused are abused by someone they know and trust.
THEY NEED US – TO RECOGNISE, PROTECT, AND ADVOCATE.
Our Mission
We exist to prevent sexual violence by equipping communities, organisations and workplaces with the tools to recognise risk, challenge silence, and dismantle the manipulative strategies perpetrators rely on.
What We Do
HIPS delivers trauma-informed sexual violence prevention and response training to communities, organisations and workplaces, creating safe spaces for difficult conversations.
Through powerful, tailored workshops, HIPS provides the knowledge and tools needed to prevent abuse, recognise exploitation, and respond safely.
WORKPLACE TRAINING
Workplaces are built on trust, influence and reputation – the same conditions that can allow exploitation and boundary violations to go unnoticed.
HIPS helps organisations recognise risk early, respond appropriately, and build cultures where safety and accountability are taken seriously.
Now more than ever, employees, clients and the public are paying attention to how organisations prevent harm – not just how they respond to it.

Our values
Integrity
We are committed to doing what’s right, even when no one is watching. Integrity means standing firm in our mission - not bending to pressure, not diluting truth, and not backing down from difficult conversations.
Courage
We stand up for what’s right. It takes courage to talk about difficult topics, challenge harmful norms, and keep going when the work is tough - but we will continue to do it because it matters. We show up, speak up, and stay focused - even when progress is slow - because every child’s safety is worth it.
Honesty
We create safe places for uncomfortable conversations. Speaking truthfully - even about hard things helps break the silence and protect those who need it most.
Unity
We believe prevention, educating, and healing is a shared responsibility. We partner with families, professionals, and organisations - learning from each other, sharing what works, and building safer environments together.
